Rear Camber Problems

I have a 2014 Countryman All4 and am having some alignment problems, hoping you all can provide some guidance. The tire shop has been working on the alignment for a few months now. The rear camber is out of spec every time I bring it in and even though they can do minor adjustments, they are telling me the only way to bring the camber back into spec is through the installation of aftermarket control arms. The car has had no modifications; all parts are factory. This process is a little more costly than I'm willing to undergo without research. I am bringing the car to the dealer this weekend, but I always feel like they are dishonest with me there and will just say that the control arms are broken and I need to replace them. The rear camber issue is causing excessive wear on the rear tires.

I guess my questions are: are the factory control arms not adjustable? Should I consider aftermarket parts? Is this something that could be considered for warranty? the car has never been in an accident or had any damage. Is it unusual for a factory part to fail so quickly or do I just have high expectations.

I will post the specs later today. Any assistance would be appreciated!

The standard one, not the sport suspension.

Rear Camber Problems

i would take it to mini ... sounds like a warranty problem

i jyst had mini check my alignment and as a result i have the specs ... i have the sport suspendion and do not know if they apply to standard sudpension, but i bet they are very similar

edit .... ignore the A before the degree symbol ... don't know where that came from as i typed a degree character

front camber -1.0° to 0.0°
front toe .12° to .18°
rear camber -2.2° to -1.3°
rear toe .13° to .20°

The only reason I asked about suspension is because the sport sits lower and might result in the car sitting further into the negative camber gain region of the camber curve... though I have no idea what our camber gain looks like.

I do know that all CMs I see all look like the rear wheels have a lot of negative camber. My solution is to just corner hard to wear the tread more evenly.

Unless they aren't torquing the bolts properly after adjusting camber it is definitely possible that you need adjustable rear arms. The camber adjustment point is only able to take so many times of being adjusted before it doesn't bring the angle back into spec, but -3.6* is over twice what it is supposed to be.
