So i need help with a broken braking system part...HELP

Hey guys it's been one of those two steps forward, one step back kind of weekends. I went to move a line out of a clip and it snapped the plastic piece it was connected to.

What is this little grey "plug" that goes into the brake master cylinder??

@ECS - we can add this to my order :-)

I don't believe you can purchase just the grey plug portion, but it looks to be the vacuum pipe non return valve. Since you're beckoning ECS to add it to an existing order, here's the link to their listing.

Thanks ECS - I have another idea. What about just buying a check valve https://www.ecstuning.com/ES2779657/...FZGIaQod-sMBDg and adding a bit of hose to step up to the right size or stretching the current one to accommodate it. Outside of cost I don't like how easily the nub snapped. I mean literally I was trying to unclip the hose from its plastic holder about 5" away and it snapped

Welcome.

Yea, that's off an BMW e36, the pressure on the valve might be different. Worth a shot and compare it to the old one, i dont have the pressure valve measurement of the MINI check valve or the other one.
