where's all the cosmic pics? No one has a cosmic blue? it would be nice to see some others while mine is sitting at the port all lonely waiting for the boat ..

 

Here is my baby. I would like take some newer photos. But it won't stop raining long enough so I give him a good wash.

It's been sitting at the port since Thursday, 9/15....

 

I thought about getting black sport stripes. But I wasn't sure how well they would show up on the blue. I'm happy with how it turned out.

Awesome! Me, too! What color wheels on yours? I chose the black because I was feeling especially sporty and frisk that day, but the silver wheels sure would be sharp as well. And I LOVE the stripes. Y'all are killing me with these pics, though. I want my car to get here sooooooooo badly!

Ps. What color interior did you choose? I really wanted the Polar Beige, but with a lab puppy and two kids, I went with the charcoal LL.

 

We went with the Anthracite wheels because the Mister doesn't like black wheels, but I didn't want the regular silver.
And we got the Carbon Black interior to match the Lounge Leather, with Piano Black interior surface. I thought about the Polar Beige, too, but couldn't settle on which combination to put it in, they both had drawbacks, so I stuck w/black. I've got two Golden Retrievers to cart around, and I'm ordering the dog mats from Pooch Style today, probably in the black again.
It'll be dark, but I'm more interested in the MINI Connected w/Nav, I guess. I love bells & whistles.

I'm tracking the ship carrying her right now. Got some pics of the ship going through the locks on the Atlantic side of the Canal...just waiting for the boat to make it to the Pacific side locks and then 10 days til port.

I went with the Coffe Lounge Leather and the regular headliner. Looks awesome!

Kahuna is freakin' gorgeous! Loving the Cosmic with the jet black 18s. Did you tint or are you thinking about it? Ditching the run flats? I am living vicariously through you right now as mine is boarding a ship sometime this week...hopefully.

 

Thanks Molly! I did tint the windows even though it doesn't look like it. In Massachusetts legal tint is only 35%. Also because I have a sunroof and the headliner is lighter (opposed to anthracite) its a little lighter than I expected.

I haven't ditched the run flats (yet) but they haven't been too bad so far. I have hit a couple potholes that felt worse than it actually turned out to be but I'm getting used to it.

Waiting for my CM to arrive was agonizing but well worth the wait. I love my CM more and more each day. I have almost 8k miles on it and no complaints!

 

Any chance you could post some pics of your interior? I would love to see the coffee leather.

My Mister was curious about the decal you have near the front tire, where did you get that? He wants me to put something similar on my car. (Yes, my Mister wants me to put flowers on my car--his idea, after seeing this. Yes, I know that's kind of weird)

I love the picture of the shift **** with everything blurred behind it. Very cool!

Thanks Mel. I actually ordered the decal through my dealership who had it custom ordered and installed for me. The design was something I found and forwarded to my MA who then worked with their graphics company to produce the decal. Honestly you can have any design made into a decal and have your dealership install. I love that about mini! You personalized it however you want.

Those are really cool--I definitely want to sign up for one.
But $165!? That's almost as much as the dog bed/seats!
