Thanks folks! Wanted something a little (but not a lot) different with the stripes. Was really considering Martini Racing Stripes up the middle (using the CB color as the dark blue in that color scheme) but decided on something a little less complicated. Eeither way, really happy with how it turned out. My Clubman was Chili Red with black bonnet stripes - loved it. Gotta have some sort of stripes, in my opinion.

@rcsmrk - Those look great. I ordered my Cosmic Blue CMS sans stripes. I don't think the factory red would look good, afraid the white will be too stark of a contrast, and the black won't show at all. Aesthetic Creations did a great job on my '09 CMS last year at the dragon so I figure I'll see what he comes up with and try to get something a little different.

 

Thanks! I get all kinds of compliments regarding the silver & chrome combination. I checked out Aesthetic Creations just now - cool stuff! I saw black stripes on a CB CMS at a dealer but only noticed them when I was standing right next to the bonnet. Cool enough for those who like the subtlety but for me personal preference is that the stripes be noticed. Good luck with your choices and can't wait to see pics!

 

I think the white stripes look great on the Cosmic Blue.

 

I'd like to see a CB/CB with white sport stripes. Guess I'll wait until ours come in. We ordered one (the All-4) CB/CB with white sport stripes and the other one (mine) CB/CB sans stripes.

 

how hard is it to change stripes? I ordered mine with the bonnet stripes but thinking I may want to change after year b/c I've seen some differnet options

My Cosmic Blue CMS was completed yesterday and released to carrier. Our Cosmic Blue ALL4 CMS is scheduled for completion tomorrow. Two more CB will soon be backstroking to the USA.

 

Mine is scheduled to land on US soil tomorrow!!!!!!

 

Mines on the Oberon somewhere in the Atlantic. Hoping it will be here by the end of the year!
