So I got the downpipe installed over the weekend and now have a weird sound when accelerating. I didn’t get the heat shield put back on quite right and was going to get back under it and fix it. It doesn’t sound like a heat shield though it sounds more like induction noises or weee noise. Sorry for the vague noise. Thank you everyone for your help.

 

You will hear some different exhaust noises with a down pipe installed... Since the cat isn't there anymore, you'll hear more whooshing noises and a little bit of a tinny noise from the front of the car.

 

That sounds how I would describe it but I can take a video tomorrow afternoon and post it on here if you’d give it a listen
