2013 Countryman S with M7 Stage 2 CAI

Recently installed M7 CAI with intercooler charge pipe and sounded great first couple of days. Then one day started vehicle and heard a long whooshing sound, maybe 20 seconds. Don't understand why it didn't do it from the get go. Doesn't make that sound every time it's started. Is this normal because of the CAI?

the whooshing could be the diverter valve and this would woosh until the throttle is opened back up again after a decent boost... due to the intake theres no longer a muffler on the air box

Mine does this too after installing my CAI. Goes away as soon as I start to drive it.

Most likely the Vamos. Mine does the same thing since putting a cat-back on it. My Mini mechanic said it's the Vamos. He says it blows in more air at startup to preheat the cat, because of the cat isn't at a certain temp, in can be damaged.

Mine does that almost every time on start up after adding the intake. After a few seconds of higher rpm cold start, it will slowly go down and finally a woosh right before it goes to normal idle speeds.
