Ru-1540?

So I'm brand new, still waiting on my CountrymanS ALL 4 to get here. I keep hearing about this fabled K&N air filter. What I can't find is a single picture of one installed, anyone on here have one?

It installs in the stock air box, so there's nothing to see.

Ru-1540 is a cone and I keep reading "replace" stock air box. That's why I'm confused, I ordered the K&N. It's a cone for sure.

Sorry. I'm only familiar with the K&N replacement filter.

No worries man. If you search the Countryman forum, there was brief conversation between two members about it. One of them asked for a picture and then the thread ends there. I've been looking around but when you do a google search you just get directed to this site. So, who knows. Maybe I'm chasing a myth. Lol

That is what it looked like... Remove air box, bolt filter to MAF. Same thing we used to do on the miatas. Probably should make a bracket or something to support it...

I didn't think of that. I'll definitely be looking into bracket placement.
