Wheel Alignment Specs for the Roadster

Do you know if the wheel alignement specs on the roadster is the same as the standard MINI Cooper S?

I need new tires and might take the opportunity to have an alignment done. I'd like to give the shop specs to follow but I'm not sure if the roadster as the same as a standard 2014 Cooper S.

Yes. But, there really isn’t much adjustment in the OEM suspension either. In the front you can really only adjust for toe. With a small modification of removing the strut mount alignment pin, you can get slightly more camber. Maybe -1.1° on each side. In the rear you can adjust toe and camber.

Thanks Nik,
Yeah, I always ask myself what's the point of paying for an alignment when they don't provide much means to do so. It's good to know if the car has issues I guess, since I tend to wear tires more on the inside. And wear tire faster than I wish...

I have found that incorrect toe setting will wear out the inside tire edge more than camber will

I could see that. Rubbing the tire at an angle can't be good. I'll have them check the alignment... Thx!
I'll use these from my Service Manual. I assume these are correct.

Those would be the specs.

Note the front toe is 12', which on a 17-inch wheel is almost nothing. You want front toe as close to zero without going over - ever so slightly toe in. Rear toe can be slightly more, but still on the toe in side. Slight toe in will cause the car to be more stable going straight. Any amount of toe out will cause the car to wander around and feel twitchie.

For camber, take what you can get in the front, but make sure its the same on both sides. Same for the rear, but there is more adjustment available in the rear. If you are at OEM ride height, get the rear camber at minimum, but the same on both sides.
