All sound stopped working

My R59 had all of its sound quit working and I had a burnt smell near the drivers seat. The HK amplifer is under the drivers seat and had that smell. I removed the amplifier and replaced it with a new one from a dealer. It still has no sound. I was extremely careful to make sure the connector is seated properly and latched. I looked for the fuse for the amp and only found what looked like a radio fuse. The fuse was good. The wiring harness looked new and connectors are not burnt. I also checked with my OBD reader and there are no faults showing.. Is it possible that this must be reset in the software with dealer computer?

Any help would be appreciated.

Ron

Issue resolved....the problem was at the connector. Very nice to have all the sounds back. To answer my question about coding to the computer....It is not necessary. All plug and play
