I've been lurking about here for a few days and have really enjoyed reading about your cars and the modifications you have carried out and/or are planning. I'm also really impressed with the group's enthusiasm and willingness to help others.

I ordered my Roadster JCW on March 30th, and now I'll just have to wait. Talk about delayed gratification.

This is my second MINI; my first was a 1969 Mini 1000, bought new in 1969! The new one is technologically a quantum leap ahead of my first Mini, but pretty much on par in the "blast to drive" category. This is also my second "roadster"... I have a 1991 Special Edition BRG Mazda MX-5, purchased new. I'm hoping roadster #2 is as much fun (sure it will be) and as reliable.

I live in Canada, near Toronto, and I've noticed differences between options and packages offered in the US and Canada.

Congrats Alan! You will love the car. Someday I would like to drive an original Mini. There was one for sales locally earlier this year that I considered but I just can't justify four cars.

 

Very nice. The Silver White JCW Aero body with blacked out Xenons and the naked bonnet will look positively awesome.

Nice looking car. We had a spate of great-looking Pepper Whites just recently, and I'm looking forward to seeing the Silver White on your car.
