[QUOTE=BlueToy;3704850]Bill, you could take delivery late next week
We've been thinking, as well as hoping for a March 30th all along, but didn't know, really. If it arrives on Monday or Tuesday, or even a drop off on Sunday, that will give Maria time to arrange to have the stripes applied and be ready for Saturday. Hey, it's all coming together. By the way, all birthday presents greatly accepted. First on the list, yes I have a list, a full Arkapovic exhaust system. Ok, just kidding,

I couild still be looking at then too, depending on the arrival in Schaumburg, but the beginning of April is much better than we were thinking only a couple of weeks ago. Springs going to be fun, if it ever gets here. We're suppose to be getting 4" to 6" of the white stuff tonight and tomorrow, to go along with rain on Wednesday thru Friday this next week. What weather.

ChefTyGuy/Marron: Hey, how are you going to negotiate those storms that are coming your wasy in northern Florida and southern Georgia? Doesn't look all that good on the Weather Channel. Not much else to do with Olga still in Moscow. She says blizzard time there too. For Iowa? Well, it just started snowing, a snow that looks like it accumulate too. I want SPRING, not WINTER! Hasn't the weatherman looked at the calendar?

The Tiger is in port at Manzanillo. I thought this port was past the Panama Canal but I guess not. It looks like it will go through the canal later today or tomorrow. Still showing 4/2 in Port Humene. Dealer says best case will probably be able to pickup in Colorado on 4/12.

Hey guy, I know that you are not interested now, but your Athens Highway is headed back to Bremerhaven now. That ship must have been loaded to the gills with Mini's to only have made two stops. Why couldn't your Marron and my Lil Raggi roomed together? That way Lil Raggi would have REALLY felt bad about coming to Iowa, with your Marron going to the Sunny state of Florida. He got sick enough on vodka, after hearing where he was going. And now he is running into a snow storm in Indiana before being dropped off in Schaumburg. I won't tell him that Iowa is getting some snow, not much though. Wish we could track trucks.

HAHA well we had a pretty nasty storm that lasted about 30-45 mins and did a good amount of damage to the area. Good thing I didn't have Marron yet, but hes got a nice cottage in the back of my townhouse to room in, out of the florida sun.

[quote=ChefTyGuy;3705703]We didn't get it so bad last night with snow, about three inches or so. But, Lil Raggi won't have to worry either, as he's got a share cottage in the back, he has to share with a big black Jeep Liberty that my wife drives. Suppose to warm up next week, and be in the 50's for the pick up in Schaumburg. According to OL, my guy is suppose to be picked up on March 24th, another date we missed. I do think that he may be in the Chicago area by now, and missed the Indiana blizzards.
sailwx.info lists four or five Turandots, so I wasn't sure.

Just talked with my MA and she has no idea as to when our little roadster will arrive. She's not all that certain that he has even left the Baltimore VDC. Lots of thoughts can go through one's mind on that issue. Like: Damage in shipping coming across a winter storm laden Atlantic. I don't buy that they held up shipping cars on account of the first week of Spring Snow storm in eastern Midwest. Ohio, West Virginia and Indiana. Sure, they were right in the way of the delivery trucks, but I haven't ever met a trucker that let snow storms stop them before they were in the storm. Looks like, maybe we'll have to wait until April 7th at the earliest to bring him home. Kind of putting a damper on this, plus..........
Hemi ,
I haven't arrived at the NJ port... Maybe tomorrow ... If so , I can see me driving the roadster about April 2. My MA identified a number of issues... One being finding truck and driver... Do you think this is the issue you're facing ? You have been at port for a few days now.. Right?

Once the car is released to carrier from vdc the truck has three days per contract to pick it up. Also remember its Easter weekend so I'm not sure how many truck drivers will want to be on the road. That calls into reason two options. Hurry up and deliver and be back home by Easter. Or wait until after the weekend so they can spend it home with their families. I pick reason one so that I'm united with my "family" just like the driver could be as well

I didn't consider Easter in my calculations .... Maybe I have been overly optimistic thinking that I will have the roadster early next week... :(
