Question Body Colored Brackets in Boot

In the boot of my 2013 Roadster, there are three pairs of body colored brackets. There is a vertical pair on the back wall of the boot at the rear of the car, a vertical pair and a horizontal pair on the floor of the boot about midway from the front to the back. My MA attached four corners the cargo net to the four vertical brackets. What the heck are the two horizontal brackets for?

They're for strapping down cargo.

For attaching child seat restraints to ..... in every other Mini model - obviously it's simpler for Mini to fit all six to the Roadster rather than try to remember to fit only four for just this one model.
