On the N18, not needed as much from what I can gather. On the N14, it doesn't hurt and might help. Since your signature says you're just getting your car, then you have the N18 and therefore it's not needed as much supposedly, but they still make them.

I have been reading some older threads but since the roadsters are a somewhat new model I didn't see anything on them regarding the OCC. Although it would be the same motor.
