The Other Pippa

After what seemed like forever, Pippa finally arrived this weekend. She was delivered to the dealer on Saturday morning and Seattle Mini was so fast, I was able to pick her up later that day!

I was a bit worried that the red would be too much, but now I can't even begin to image her any other way! Love her!

Chili Red is gorgeous, especially on a Roadster. Nice choice... "the other Pippa" is a beaut. Yes, I meant yours. But so is the other Poppa. Geez... see what you've done?

My much-loved R56 was red, so I was looking forward to seeing a Roadster in red to see how it looked. It looks GREAT, congratulations!

Very nice. I really like roadsters in chili red.

How long is the Chuckanut Drive? I have a sister-in law in Bellingham and would like to drive that when we visit.

Woo-hoo! Congratulations - Pippa is a true beauty! Red is always a good choice with a MINI and looks really great on her. Here's to lots of topless days in the sun, as well as any and most all other weather. So happy for you!

Chukanut Drive is 21 miles long.

According to the "Experience Washington" website:

"Chuckanut Drive - This long, winding drive hugs the coastline offering spectacular views of the San Juan Islands. Running past quaint shops, restaurants and B&B’s, it eventually enters open farmland. The old farmhouses and the shining pyramid of Mount Baker hovering in the background provoke a sense of nostalgia."

Loved driving this road when I lived on Whidbey Island. The following website offers business info (lodging, food, shops, etc):
http://chuckanutdrive.com/.

Have fun!
