I believe the wheels are R98 7x17 Web Spokes with the black finish for the JCW. They were displayed on the wall at the dealership. (they seen me coming ).

 

There were four or five other roadsters at MINIs of the Ozarks - anyone from here?

 

Saw two other roadsters plus mine out of the 24 or 25 MINIs at the St. Louis MINI Club Fall Rallye on November 3. We had a super 125 mile romp through the back roads of Southeast Missouri.

 

Should be some more in my neck of the woods at some point. Just went to MINI of Warwick (RI) for service and they had five or six for sale on the lot. Guess it's not the time to sell Roadsters (see my other thread about the snow starting...).

 

Saw one this morning on Rt. 1A in Walpole, MA. Couldn't tell if it was an S or not, but it was black with no stripes, going south as I was going the other way. I saw a black one in North Attleboro in the late spring, could have been the same one.

 

I know it's bad form to quote your own post, but this time I had to. My wife said she had spotted a Roadster around Walpole too. I was so proud, she said "I saw this MINI, looked a bit odd then I realized that it looked like yours".

 

I see a bunch of you living in the Massachusetts area, I drive all over the state for work, have had my roadster since last Tuesday and have never seen one on the road. One of these days....

As I left work today a chili red roadster was parked near Darcy. This is the third roadster I have seen around here.

Hey Spiney, that sure looks like your Roadster crossing the Beaver suspension bridge in a MITO '12 article photo in this month's MC2...

...but Eureka Springs seems like a long way from home for you.

Saw one today.... Central Massachusetts .... Green

 

Saw Rupert's twin yesterday. I was headed east on I64/US40 between Hwy K and the Boone Bridge somewhere between 11:30 and noon. The twin was headed westbound. I didn't see him until it was too late to wave but I blew my horn. I'm not sure he could have heard me from the other side of the highway with top and windows up in the cold weather, though.

 

I work in Weldon Spring just over the bridge and live in Chesterfield. it wasn't me as I'm currently out of town I'm driving a black roadster S and have owned it about a couple of months. I've seen only one roadster once at Chesterfield mall.

I absolutely love the car. I traded for it with a Audi TT 2004 Quattro. I like my 2013 roadster better.

I've only seen two Coupe's - no Roadsters, yet.

I get lots of looks, though which was strange at first, but now I am used to the jealousy exhibited by others :P

 

Are you a member of the St. Louis MINI Club? If not, here is the web address www.stlmini.com and there is also a forum for the club here. I joined a few months ago and went on the fall rallye. It was a blast and there were two other Roadsters there besides mine among the 25 or so MINIs that participated.

 

Saw the same (?) black S Roadster again sometime in the last week or two (can't exactly remember, getting old sucks!) this time by the prison in Norfolk, MA.

 

Went for a ride on Saturday to the Amherst/Northampton area still haven't seen a roadster on the road.

So today my wife and I decided to take a ride in northern Connecticut. Bunch of MINI's one Soft top, with the top down.. Not a single roadster...




Took my camera, big plans to take some pictures, forgot all about it...

Top down from 11am to 6pm went to dinner and drove home with the top down...

I'm in West Boylston, Westborough and Worcester a lot...

My first 17 years where in the North Attleboro area..

I feel the need for another road-trip.....

 

West Boylston is very close to me.... You have a beautiful roadster... Except for a few items ( black wheels , head lights, black trim inside ) our roadsters are twins ...
Maybe the convertible has utility for many ... As far as looks , the roadster has it hands down ... At some point, we should meet...
