R59 Anyone seen another Roadster on the road yet?
Went on a Mini Rally/Run this weekend that we covered northern Missouri and southern Iowa. We disrupted the milk supply by a couple days with the spirited Mini driving, but other than that, no incidences. One thing though, mine was the oh Roadster again. Several convertibles, but no roadsters. Three coupes, one JCW hatch, the rest S's and Just a Coopers. Pretty nice turnout, about 20 cars total. This was get together between KCMinis and Central Iowa Mini's.

I won't lie: I dig the fact that Roadsters are so rare.

I've had my Roadster for about eight months now and previously posted about the six or eight Roadsters I've seen so far on the road. It's been almost two months since I saw the last one, though.
I completely agree, St_G. I have been watching carefully since January on my daily drive, and I have not seen one roadster at all. As a soon to be MINI Roadster owner, I love that!
I've been watching for a year now. I know my local dealer has sold a few, because I've kept an eye on their stock, but they haven't been driven near me. And I live in a neighborhood completely chockablock with MINIs, and my workplace parking lot has easily a dozen more, including a JCW Coupe. But no roadsters.
Pepper White seems to be a very common color for the roadster.... Probably because it looks sooooooooo good on the car.
I've seen the same roadster two Fridays in a row. It's the only roadster I've ever seen. The problem is, is its coming out, of where I live. And it's the same color, same car ect. I'm not happy, there goes the exclusivity.
I'm going to mod the living heck out of my roadster, it's what I do. It just ironic that the only roadster I've ever seen is identical to mine and is from the same area. This Friday I'm going to give him the bird, as the last two times I was driving my truck. This time I'll be driving my roadster.
Just saw another PW roadster in my home town. Base model with two bonnet stripes... My MA told me that he sold a roadster to a local person ... I can confirm it!

Hi John,
Nope, got stuck at home with a to do list as long as my arm.
Another roadster out there???
I still haven't seen one...
I'm over 10k this week, with very close to 100 hours top down. Haven't had the chance to get past West Boylston in the last few months.
Andy
Hi Andy ,
Yes, I know for sure that there is a pw roadster with stripes in Leominster area... My wife spotted a pw roadster without stripes in Kohl's parking lot near my house....(thought it was you)
I'm approaching 2K... I love driving this thing, so miles are going to pile on...
Have to figure out how to read the open top gauge...
Best,
John

I've still only seen one Roadster sighting since getting mine in March. Saw it in downtown Boston. Sounds like there are at least 3 or so in central MA, but not seen them yet around the area.
I've still only seen two Roadsters on the road: the one I test drove and the one I ordered. Having a MINI dealer in town for the past ten years, this city is crawling with R50s, R52s, R56s, and R57s. And more than a few R55s and R60s. Have seen a couple of R58s too, though they're rare. But the R59 and R61? Not a one.
