Steven,

That diffuser is looking, like we use to say in the 60's, truly *****'n.

Fantastic.

Getting the Roadster down off the lift and out on the street reveals more torque down low, a crisper throttle response and a more pronounced Pop/Burble. The freer flowing exhaust had really subdued the Pop/Burble I had with the JCW exhaust, and hearing it come back a little more pronounced sounds good. Next up, running Stage 2 on my AP

Steven,

Have you had any error cels once you got it up and started with the new DP?
Sounding more and more like I'm going to have to bite the bullet and save a little more for the right exhaust system. Damn I had $2500 on exhaust. But, it sounds and looks like the right setup.
Bill
Hi Bill,

No CELs, as I'm running the Alta AP, which tunes them out. In your case, maybe an Evolve tune should be considered. Knowing your attention to detail on mechanical things...this is right up your alley But you're right, it's damn pricey.

Car looks fantastic. I may have missed this, but what is your suspension setup, and do you have spacers?

Edit: NVM, found what I needed to know!

Well, has your r59 made it thru production yet like they've told us? Mine's still saying In Paint Shop. The days still young, I guess. But not on Jolly Ole England.

Here it is, March 4th and Lil Ragtop is suppose to be a real roadster now. But, ASKMINI still says in the Paint Shop with a March 4 completion date. Hey guys, it's March 4th even here in the USA.

Oops, kind of doubled up the message. But, still no Pepper White roadster in finish production, according yo ASKMINI. Bet they are starting to hate hearing from us.

Hang in there, most likely it's already finished production. AskMini is not always up to speed...as you know

Steven ,

Believe it or not, but they are ahead of ASKMINI. I just talked with a representative and she still says in the Paint Shop, and due to end on March 4th . I asked her what day it is today. Guess I asked too detailed of question. All of a sudden the computers were down. Oh well, it's train time.

ASKMINI finally caught up with Owners Lounge. Talked with a real person and he got me more information. Maybe their computer was down. Anyway, he says that it's on its way to Port/Dock in Southampton and should be loading on a ship within three days. Where he got that informatin I'd like to know, but anyway, it should be just frustrating from now on not knowing where he is. I hope that they don't get all mixed up and try to go thru the Panama Canal, we need Baltimore, not the West Coast. If it goes as it did last time, it should be nine days, or less, to Baltimore POA. Anyway, I'm getting just a little pumped. Good thing Olga is going to visit her sister in Moscow, so she doesn't have to listen to me say, "Where in the heck is that ship." "Did it get lost?" She already thinks I've gone overboard on this, mentally. She might be right.

Small Interior Change

Since the installation of the BMW Performance shift ****, I was looking at a logical upgrade for the e-brake handle. 3M DI-NOC carbon fiber wrap is nearly a perfect match for the dry carbon look on the shifter...

Thanks Andy Maybe the trick with CF is not to over do it. I like it when it's mixed with other materials, but too much of it looks too busy for me visually. My two cents

Nice! Good choice with the Emperor's New Tyres. That tread pattern is amazing, as anyone can clearly see.

Make/model/size on the wheels?

Here's another look at the wheels. They are from an Italian wheel manufacturer MAK. Size 18X8 ET40. Next they are going to the powder coaters for a gloss black finish.
