It took about 8 weeks, and my new Roadster S was unloaded at the dealership today. I get to pick it up tomorrow, 3/24/12! WOO HOO!!!!!

Picked up my new Roadster S today. It is pretty peppy. Eclipse grey, black interior. Got tech, luxury, and cold weather packages, lounge leather, xenon headlights. I haven't done much "set up" yet, but it sure is fun to drive, very responsive, and HK sound system is great, even with the top down. The manual roof is not hard to raise or lower, but it takes a few steps. Not sure why, but am unable to upload a photo to show. It looks exactly like the one in my signature photo.

Very classy, the dark grey with the piped seats! Wouldn't look out of place next to one's Bentley!

Nice ride. We were caressing a Roadster yesterday at MINI STL, great weekend for one here (sunny, low 70's purrfect!).

There is extra room behind the driver's seat because I am 5'3", and have the seat pushed way forward!

 

Haha! aw man, I wasn't being dumb, I thought that seat looked pretty far forward.

I'm 6'1 so in my hardtop, it gets uncomfortable if someone has to sit behind me

Looks great though, definitely pushing me more towards that being my next car in a few years

 

It's actually great to know tha there is the extra room if you need it

 

I think I am the first Roadster S in the great state of Oklahoma. Anyone else out there? Or Kansas? Or Texas?
