I'm sure there was more than a little angst when it came time to actually cut into the bumper cover. I know it was for me when I did it. Now though with the plug installed it looks essentially unmodified. Nice job.

Very, very slick. Interesting what you've done with striping, alternating colors between roof and body. I've never seen that before. Your Coupé is unique, I think.

Thanks
all the R58’s that I’ve seen with strips, appear to have the contrasting stripes
mine came with silver stripes on hood and trunk the red ones on the top were horrible. Actually all the stripes were in really bad shape.
I bought a new cheap set from Asia. Received them and was extremely disappointed with the quality, poor colour match to Chili Red and that they were not cut for the R58.

I left it overnight with a really good sign graphic company. They laser measured and cut the stripes specifically for the car. They also used great quality vinyl.

I didn’t like the original silver stripes and I didn’t want to paint the roof black but I wanted black stripes front and back.

I’m glad I selected that combo.

Makes me really happy when I drive at speed and the tiny spoiler with black stripes pops up in the mirror.

Enjoy the weekend

The black stripes also pushed me to the black jack mirror caps from ECS Tuning. I really like the contrast.

BTW these caps are the real deal replacements for OEM. These are not the stick-on’s. Crazy easy to install

Carumba, you're right. I guess I just never noticed this striping scheme before. That probably says more about me and my lack of situational awareness than anything about the Coupé in general.
