Since I was getting all the pieces to install my Carplay headunit, I was wondering since I'm going to be tearing the inside apart maybe I could install a digital rear view mirror. Since the rear window view is so small, I can't believe no one has bothered to do it yet. I tried searching the threads but couldn't find anyone who's put in a digital mirror.

If some one has a link to a thread, please let me know. Gonna buy this one off of Amazon and give it a try.

 

I have seen and thought about it but haven't done it.

The backup camera in the head unit gets me what I need. I pull trailers a lot in my job so I am accustomed to using my side mirrors as my primary.

 

If you have that carplay unit and a Screen i would wire in the back up cam outlet off the carplay unit. Our units have them.
