I've looked and I can't find the manufacturing quantities for these rather rare models. In one C|D article about the Coupe's cancellation, they mentioned that 27,000 Coupes and just under 29,000 Roadsters had been built in the years up until 2014. This would make them a pretty rare bird.
People used to post the US sales figures for the various Mini models a lot on this forum, for the month and for the year. It shouldn't be hard to Google for the 4 years they sold the Coupe/Roadster. There weren't a lot of them, especially the JCWs.

I actually found this info on NAM ... a RARE bird indeed ! This is just US sales numbers ...

Nice work finding that. I've been on NAM since 2007 so I've seen a lot of sales figures posted. I would guess that sales of the Roadster were a little higher than the Coupe, and that about 10% of models were JCWs. So about 800 JCW Coupes on all. And there were 3 same color as mine in my town of Prescott, AZ! Haven't seen the other 2 in awhile either (and nobody's seen mine either).
I have a 2012 R58 JCW. Love the car. Heavy modified. 300hp. 58,000 miles. Top speed 183mph plus. Done by a professional driver at Dayton motor speedway. With a dashboard mounted speedo. Would not sell my car for anything. I have owned several minis and have invested a lot of money in this car. Mad Max when he was stock.
A neighbor in the next street over has been pumping me with questions the past few weeks. Now, strangely enough given the rarity, there will be two of these cars within a block of each other in my little town of 7500 people. He is picking up a 2012 S Roadster rather than a Coupe, but still pretty remarkable.
Well I don't think anyone would dispute that the Coupe was the best cornering Mini ever, the best track Mini car without mods. It had the same frame rigidity as the Roadster with a top and a low COG. Like the MF article said it was never meant to be a big seller. I could barely get 2 sets of golf clubs in it! But it was a gas to drive. If I had more room to store it I'd have hung onto it, I only got $11k for it on trade-in last year.

I just saw the counts posted a few years back
My 2012 R58S build predates this list
Sept 2011
crazy fun car to drive
my other car is a Crossfire SRT-6 and this car is way more stable and way more fun to drive.
the only downside to my R58 is tracking down all the water ingress locations. You locate and correct one and then you find another.
i would have thought that a country that builds great submarines would know a thing or two about water getting from outside in
i assumed incorrectly.
Ain't that the truth. I had a zen moment just the other day, when I saw a midnight black Coupe identical to mine cross my path while I was out and about. I had only seen two other Coupes here in Rhode Island since I stumbled across mine in a Jeep dealership back in 2019. I knew what it was, but had never seen a Coupe "in the flesh" before. The fact that it was a base model, non-S non-turbo no extras, was a plus for me - clean simplicity. Bought it the next day. Made a few changes since then (wheels & tires, headlights, reverse camera, trailer hitch, new radio) but is otherwise still a clean little Mini. And still fun.

crossfire SRT-6 also a very rare bird. But never offered with manual transmission right?

Correct
the SRT-6 model has not offered with MT
It was available on the NA version
Many owners are now swapping out the V6 for NA V8’s
crazy fast
Can be a bit spooky when you wind up the roadster
The results of a flip would be fatal.
