Trouble codes

Hey all I am getting 3 trouble codes for my 12 r58 jcw. I am getting a P2D52, P2DCA, P276A. I know the P2D52 is super knock and the P276A is because I am catless. I am trying to pinpoint the P2DCA but come up with stuff from back in 09 and if it still goes with the 12 r58 n14 then it's pointing to the VANOS but I am not sure. When all this happened I was taking a trip and then all of the sudden I lost power and it sounded like misfires with the engine light flashing. Pulled over shut it down and checked everything and then tried to start it again. Once restarted it cleared out and ran fine besides these codes now and it cutting out due to it having knock.

Check here:
https://bmwfault.codes

Enter the codes without the leading P. All three of those codes could be related to a super knock event. Are you tuned? Did you get a bad tank of gas? What is the condition of your spark plugs? How many miles on the car? Do you need a carbon cleaning in the intake ports?

The car was running a tune when it all happened. Now it's on stock tune and still doing the same. Thought it was bad fuel but went to a few other stations and the same thing happened through the last 2 tanks. Spark plugs are about 9k miles old and looked good besides the one that shows where the knock is. Going to replace them today incase the one failed. Carbon cleaning was done at the same time as the plugs. Currently she has 101k miles and 1k miles on fresh oil. Also has a new maf sensor installed now since it did have a code for that before all this started.

Which plugs are you running? Whenever I had to run cheap gas and had a super knock event, I would switch to Sunoco 93 and the event would go away. Try a top teir fuel supplier, and report back. Might also try an octane booster to see if that changes anything.

Running stock ngk plugs. Well hope they are stock lol. Its what the local auto store gave me. I'm wondering if I should be running colder plugs since I was on a tune. I'm also thinking the turbo is possibly going out since it seems to struggle to get past 10-11psi. On the tune it would only hit 14.5psi for some reason also. I'm very curious if the vanos has been going out since I got the car back in November. I have read the JCW should be right around 18psi and have never seen that yet

Yikes! Definitely change out your plugs. Grab a set of NGK 1422 ILKR8E6 plugs and get those installed. I would avoid trying to push the car hard until those are in.

Changed plugs and now just getting the 2b5b code for the maf. Changed the maf and throttle body and still get the code. All clamps are tight on the intake and the boost pipes. Just can't get to one on the passenger side without the bumper off. Going to check that one tomorrow. Other then that I have no idea what's going on

2012 JCW is N14 engine? Might want to check the PCV pipe from the cam cover to the intake manifold. Those pipes prove to be fragile and can leak. Does the car run well otherwise?

Yeah it runs amazing but keeps hitting limp mode from the code. I am also curious if the Alta inlet tube I have on it is leaking. Possibly the o-rings not sealing on it. When I take it off you can rock the tube around and doesn't take any effort to slide it on. I may end up getting the NM engineering intake instead. I will check that hose out. Was thinking to go get some hose and put a catch can on that side anyways.
