F60 Codes....
I just took a quick look at one of the BMW forums. 8053A5 has to do with the ASD (Active Sound) That is the exhaust sound that is piped into your cabin so you think you hear wonderful motor noises when you are driving.
It seems you can reset that in with Bimmercode.
I am not sure about a Countryman (I have one) but if you have an OBD2 scanner, try resetting the code and see if it comes back. The codes could be intermittent issues.
After programming with ISTA/P V3.56.1
Active Sound Design (ASD) no longer provides simulated engine sounds
A fault is stored in the ASD module.
Fault Code 8053A5 "ASD; invalid coding data for equalizing" CAUSE Invalid ASD coding data
