R58 Valve Controlled Exhaust for R58 JCW Suggestions?
Hello All,
I have just bought my 4th MINI which happens to be an R58 JWN and am loving it already! I have to admit that I have never been into forums, but am giving this a try out of desperation!
I am hoping to find a cat-back exhaust system that has electronic valve control, so it can be louder when needed and quieter at times? Would love to find one that give the popping every time the car is revved up. I had a magnaflow on my Gen1 (non-valved) and was very happy with it, but am told that their version for Gen2 is not as good!
The only one that I have seen that seems to be doing this is the FI Exhaust, but I've been told by some resellers that it runs about 2500.00!!! I've also seen an Italian brand named Ragazzon, but cannot find anyone who knows the pricing or selling it.
would appreciate any feedback with your experiences with aftermarket exhausts on your Gen2s, even if they're not valve controlled.
Cheers!

Can’t say that I’ve seen a bypass exhaust for the R58 cars...
You could easily slot one of these before your stock muffler:
