Driver Seatbelt roller cover squeeks/crunches

Hi,
At the B pillar where the seat belt retracts/releases there is a trim piece that is the shape of a small ting can. It has vertical seams 180 degrees offset from each other. It make a crunching/cracking sound at times. I can manipulate it by hand and reproduce it. Andy suggestions how to address?

Thanks!

I put a peice of black electrical tape around both of mine. And it stopped squeaking and vibrating. You wont even notice the the tape it is really out of sight. It was easier to reach this from the boot.
