Just checking to see if anyone has installed any kind of remotely controlled exhaust system on their coupe. If so, which one?

 

I'm going to conclude that no one has done this! Controlling the exhaust note with a small remote while driving sounds like a good idea. I've seen some videos from Rhemus and I think the newer mini coopers have an option for a JCW sport exhaust with a Remote. The videos sound incredible.

Go to Jegs.com and get an electric exhaust cutout for a Mustang (other size is too big) and slip it into your system way up near the front . Hook up your wiring and then make obnoxiously LOUD NOISE at the touch of a button. And if you want to be a REAL A55HOLE you can run a single pipe (right side only) with a FlameThrower kit installed. And then you can activate your on board bleachwater burnout kit . Do this at a local cruise nite just once so everyone can tell their friends that they "shulds bin dere". Been there, done that. Got the t-shirt AND the tattoo.

Yes, the newer models can be ordered with this....the guys on White Roof Radio rave about it. There's someone on NAM that has done this to a second gen, but I can't find the thread....not sure if it was Remus or not....seems like it was another vendor.

 

If you are talking about valvetronic exhaust yes, i have one fitted in my coupe Its A japanese exhaust company called Armytrix also my friend fitted FI exhaust on his. u can also fit IPE exhaust and Remus . All of them are valvetronic (comes with a remote on, off and auto).
