New JCW tomorrow

This board has been hugely valuable in helping me choose the right car with options. Thanks for that. Pick up my 2014 JCW Coupe tomorrow and look forward to it.

Specs:

White silver, black interior, black top, black stripes, black challenge wheels
Recaros, heated
Chrome line interior trim
JCW dash - leather/alcantara
JCW leather/alcantara steering wheel
JCW supplemental gauges
Connected w/ nav
Auto climate
Rain sensing wipers and auto headlamps
Xenons
Black light housings
White indicators
HK

That's about it. Did not do the sports suspension because I am going to add the JCW suspension after I acclimate to the car...

Here's hoping for a smooth delivery...

Post pics when you take delivery of it:-)! I love the Coupe, I might have to get a JCW one down the road.

Congratulations! Did you happen to buy it at MINI of the Main Line? I was there in Saturday and saw someone looking over a very similar car.

Thanks all. There were a few cosmetic issues with the car that I am having the dealer address so pickup is next week. Saw the car and it is really very nice. So I will post pics next week - stay tuned.

Of note, I am really glad I ponied up for the Recaros and JCW dash. 3k is Porsche money for seats. The seats both look better than in images I have seen and feel great. I do wish they had more functionality for the money (power, memory, more upper torso bolstering). The dash is subtle but leather top ups the quality feel inside. Also the doors close with a real quality feel. I was not expecting that. Also I thought the wheels would be flat black but (as I am sure all of you know) they are painted gloss black. Once delivered I am will be putting on the JCW suspension. Already ordered the strut brace. Then it's track time in the summer....

Yes, Mattsch1981 that was my car! Cheers.

Cool! Enjoy it! If i were to buy a Coupe, it would look just like yours! Be sure to check out phillymini.org. It's a VERY active club with a lot of great people and events. If you decide to join, you get some nice discounts on parts, accessories, ans service from the local dealerships as well as some online vendors.

The Recaros rock, I drove a JCW Coupe with them. Sounds like a really nice car you've got there, bet you can't wait to start motoring.

Nice list of options. The JCW Dash Leather w/ alcantara is really cool to see and touch like the JCW alcantara steering wheel.

You will be very happy with those.

Congrats and cant wait for pics.

An image of my new 14 JCW Coupe

An image of the new car. I was traveling since taking delivery so sorry for the delay. Did some mods already, black exterior trim, scuttles. Did some interior work too - JCW leather/carbon shift **** to compliment the JCW steering wheel. Next weekend is the GP2 rear diffuser, belly pan, and strut brace. Later this year a suspension. Then done. I will post some interior and exterior images next week when I am done installing all the extras...

I am seriously considering de-striping. Now having the car I am not sure I like them. Any thoughts? How difficult is it to remove them?

The car is a blast to drive. I also have an 13 E92 M3 and I have a feeling it going to be parked quite a bit...

Thanks.

Welcome to the white silver club:-). Looks perfect!!

Also, I'd take the stripes off but either way it looks good. Depending on the weather you could take them off. Thinking of a black hood scoop?

It would cost a few bucks, but you could have a local graphics place make up some silver stripes to cover up the black ones. Tape them in place, then squint and see if you like the car better without the stripes.

You could do the same things on the roof, maybe just run the stripes on the hood?

The car has a nice look. Well done.

Have fun,
Mike

I made them a little bigger for you, but nice options. Alcantara and leather loveliness.

Nice GP2 Rear diffuser kit.

Thanks

ECS for upsizing the images. Some of that interior trim was purchased from ECS. Thanks.

I've noticed something very seriously broken with your car, they put the steering wheel on the wrong side :P
