TPM warning

So, I had an odd occurrence yesterday. Started driving and got a big warning screen telling me the TPM detected an issue with the left rear tire. Car felt normal. When I got to the first practical place to stop I got out the pressure gauge and checked the tire. Which was normal pressure. Checked the rest of them too and all were fine. So I just reset the system and did not have any other warnings pop up.

Any thoughts on what might have caused the warning? Tires are non-run flats.

tires were cold, pressure was just a little low, when you drove it, heated the tires/ pressure.

Funny, same thing happened to me yesterday on the way home (400+ miles) from WV. While the reason given above is a good one, in my case I'd been on the road at interstate speeds for several hours before mine suddenly went off. It ended up going away on its own about 30 minutes later. Mine was a TPMS INACTIVE alert. I recently swapped the OEM wheels and tires for aftermarkets and while I did the reset I'm guessing it just lost signal and eventually reset again.

My low tire alarm sounded as soon as i pulled out of the garage this morning - first I''ve driven it in cool weather. How could you tell which tire it was alarming on?

All 4 of mine showed good pressure. I reset the alarm and did not see it again the rest of the day.

The warning screen told me which tire. I have Connected so the big display had a lot of info on it rather than just what you see in the window in the tach

Mine went crazy saying all 4 tires were low on the morning after sitting out in a cold storm when I was out of town at a hotel -- normally it's garaged. Tires weren't low, I stopped for air to make absolutely sure, but the TPM was still angry so I had to reset.

It wouldn't be such a big deal if the MINI didn't make such a big production out of it. GUYS GUYS GUYS MY TIRES ARE LOW HOLY CRAP HELP ME EXCLAMATION POINTS EVERYWHERE YOU ARE RISKING MY LIFE DRIVING ME GUYS GUYS HALP

First off I am new to this forum but have had a couple of Mini's (2007 S and now a JCW Coupe) Both of them have TPM's. My 2007 every year like clock work would throw an error on one of the tires. Visually check, check pressure and motor on.

What I found interesting was I just took delivery of the Coupe and had the Run Flats pulled off. Of course had to reset the TPM, but when I got home and had my wife take it for a spin it thew another TPM error. Had her get out and I got in with my key ... no error . I got out had her get in with her key ... error. I reset the TPM under her Key and all is good now. That did not happen with our 2007 S. Very strange.
