Sun roof for the R58?

Does Mini Cooper offer a sunroof for the coupé? And... please don't say "They do - it's the Roadster".

There isn't a flat spot bigger than two square inches on the roof of a Coupe.

Well, maybe on the future upgrades of the coupé it'll have removable sections like the 'vettes had. Where do I post my "wish list" to the designers?

Hmmmm... Coupé with a targa roof? I like the idea. But I bet they'd have to reconfigure the boot to make it fit back there for storage.

Never happen.

Personally, I'd sacrifice some trunk space if they made a convertible hard top (ala Z-4) for the Coupe.

No, not a targa roof but a T-top like the '68 vette.

T-Tops are OK, and they're certainly easier to store. But I prefer the clean look of a full targa roof, a la Porsche 911 or Toyota Supra. I think the Coupé would look SWEET running an open targa configuration. Where's my Sawzall?

Would be amazing if there was a sunroof somehow. It was on my must-haves list for my 3rd MINI my Coupe. Had to compromise :(

Also my dream is a hard top convertible and talking to some MINI peeps in Germany, I hear it is not just a dream any more and hints say it could come with 3rd gen yay!

Anyone else get 99% of people asking why you drive with the top up on a nice day? Then I say it's not a convertible and they look so disappointed. I also have finger prints on my roof from strangers coming up in parking lots looking for the roof mechanism (I know this because I confronted one and asked!)

Let the sun in !!!

Sunroof/Spoiler - Let the Sun in! First ever?

I have read that Coupe owners said it couldn’t be done . . . . .Not as good as a ‘T’ Top, but almost. Electric one-touch, lifetime guaranteed, looks as good as any factory installed sunroof.

Cheaper than the factory installed model … Oh’ there is NO factory installed model !!!!

This is the 4th sunroof that I have had installed by Justin Kerstiens cst.108@classicsofttrim.com, Denver, of Classic Soft Trim, have never had a problem. (Inalfa Spoiler Roof 450 OE)

More fun under the sun without having to worry about drafts, tears or a flimsy top
