I took the dealers only slot but it still shows all the default specs of the pre-configured dealer order. Soon it should change to my order specs and then I will get a VIN and production week.
Since I live in Colorado, this will be a long wait. The Roadster has to make the trip through Panama Canal, up to California, and then east to Colorado.

My R59 S has been built and Robo-MINI says it's "at the port, awaiting a shipping vessel" and Owner's Lounge still doesn't show any of my order specs (the box is completely blank). At least it shows the VIN and the correct exterior/interior colors. This is the 3rd MINI order in our family but the first time that OL has been this slow to update.
I put in my order for a JCW R59 a month ago and just got a production number a week ago, I check OL daily, no build date for mine yet. I am East Coast so I am hoping to have it in time for the Dragon in May!

My MA has said that it's not on a boat yet, but I'm hoping he's mistaken. Which ship is yours on? What port is it coming to?
If you have your VIN, head over to the WW page at: https://att.2wglobal.com/gstattweb/o...uickSearchPage
and pop the VIN into the Cargo ID field. That should either confirm
or deny
what your MA is telling you. (although they are usually right)Apparently that ship is making good time - the WW website now has it arriving in port on the 18th. It was saying the 19th originally!
Ours is on the "Courage" heading for Baltimore.

Since we're in the midwest, I'd expect the folks at points east of here will be at least several days ahead of me taking delivery, so I'll be surprised if we're first. I believe we will be the first in St. Louis.
Although even that isn't certain - the dealer here is expecting a launch car to arrive a week or so earlier than our car. I'd expect them to want to hang onto it as a demo to sell more, but I don't know if they'd sell it right way or not.

I think they ship predominately on K-Line for cars coming into Charleston, SC and Brunswick, GA and those are the most common ports for MINI's coming to Texas.
Interesting. All mine have come in on WW, so I sort of had the impressions they all were shipped that way. (but obviously I've only really checked on the ones coming here)
That ship does run down the coast though - after Baltimore it hits Charleston and Brunswick, so I'd assume it's delivering cars of some sort to those ports as well?

I've been checking my VIN on the WW site daily ever since my car went into production and each time it says, "No record found". I sure wish K-Line had a similar way to check. Robo-MINI and MA both say it's still at the port. The pdf of the K-Line schedule shows Bishu Highway departing Southampton on this week (Feb 17) and I'm hoping my Roadster will be on it. Maybe that will be a good omen.... husband's Countryman came to us on a Bishu Highway sailing last year!
