It's just under $1000 without painting and installation labor. He says that having it installed at the port MIGHT save some labor. That remains to be seen, but we're giving it a try. :-)
Did anyone ask MINIUSA why this is not in the MINI coding system yet for a build by a dealer....makes no sense why are they dragging their *** getting this into the configurator as well

JCW Spoiler + Coupe = Wow!

Picked my coupe up last night from the dealer, where the JCW spoiler was installed. White silver with a metallic black top. Wow! Does this thing change the look of the car completely.

And as an added bonus (in my opinion) since the motor and other assorted doodads are now gone, there is absolutely zero noise/rattle/ thump over bumps that I had before. In fact, with the radio off, the only thing you can hear is the JCW tuning kit exhaust!!! Shweeet!

I can't recommend this enough. Really does make the car even more of a head turner!

VERY Nice!! Great looking Coupe!
We love our spoiler, and maybe that is why we haven't noticed any rattles... we installed the spoiler before we brought Jasper home.

Very nice, it works with the rear lines on the Coupe. White silver with black looks great!

We have it right here:

has anyone seen the JCW Spoiler on a Lightning Blue w/Silver Roof/Mirrors painted Silver? I'm thinking of doing this and can't find a single Lightning blue coupe w/the JCW spoiler in silver. Black looks great though on the above blue coupe

Look great!! i have a 2013 lightning blue w/silver roof/mirrors coming and am having the JCW spoiler painted in silver to match the top. can't wait to see how she looks; as much as i like the idea of the active spoiler, this just looks amazing and if it reduces potential rattles/noise, bonus!!

i'll post pics of my baby late in march 2013 once she arrives. my spoiler w/painting and mounting came to be around $1400 total for those wondering.

Hi there,

Could you tell me what you dealer did with the retro programming in details. Asked my dealer and they were clueless, sigh.

Thanks in advace

hmm, not exactly sure if one can do this in NCSexpert or not. did you get the jcw spoiler on your own vs going through the dealer?

Had the JCW Wing put on my 2012 Spice Orange Coupe. Painted to match the car with Black top and spice orange bottom. Felt a difference with stability. I switched over to Non Run Flat tires a few months ago and felt the small ride on the ground to be a little sloppy until the wing came up at 50 mph. Now with the JCW wing the ride is more enjoyable. Feeling the road and taking turns faster because the car feels more stable. The combo with Non Run Flats and the wing make driving my Coupe so much more fun. I also had the stripes put on the wings. Spice Orange on the black upper and Black on the spice orange bottom. I don't notice any difference visibility with the JCW wing. Dealer did have to disable the program for wing function and my old wing was removed motors and all. Put the original wing into storage with my run flat tires and a few other things that I replaced on my Coupe. I had been eyeing the wing since I got my Coupe just didn't act on it till a few weeks ago. Loving every minute of it!
Will post pictures of it over the weekend. I haven't had the chance to get some good shots of it yet.

i'd agree with you on this too, i feel my coupe w/the jcw wing sticks to the road much more than the test drive vehicles w/o it drove.

plus, add in an exhaust upgrade and you'll be flying! loving my alta 3" downpipe; my baby just growls
