I just have a very quick chassis related question

I know the Coupe Chassis is taken from the Mini Cooper Cabriolet, does THIS mean that chassis parts from the cabriolet fit the coupe? And this being said, will the hatchback match as well? I was unsure of the similarities and whether or not a hatchback and cabriolet would have interchangeable parts (thinking of exhausts and diffusers for this question..) and if they do, would they be transferrable to the coupe?

The hatch is a heck of a lot longer/curvy so I don't think that would match up. Can't say about the other bits.

 

Sorry Art guy but you are incorrect. The Coupe and Roadster are based on the cabriolet wich is based off the HB. The onlt differnce being frame stiffening componenets. Mechanical parts such as Sway bars, exhaust, STB etc are interchangeable on all three variants. The hatch is virtually the same size as the two [maybe body differences but underpinings are the same.

So BlacknBootn, mechanicals [exhaust STB etc will fit on all three]

 

^^^ Good to know... any word on the aero? for say, the challenge cars? curious to see how that'll work or who will hustle to get new pieces out.

 

Sorry guys, I was referring to the actual HATCH. I understood the question to be whether the hatch components would be the same! Read that post a little too quickly!
