The antenna above the windshield is gone and the large base is broken and a circuit board exposed on my daughter’s ‘09 base convertible. I looked for a video on how to replace it. There are many videos of how to replace the rear mounted antenna on a hard top, but couldn’t find one for a vert.

Does anyone have experience with this? Curious to know how much of the interior needs to be removed to access the hardware.

I should note that the radio does not work. Could be related, but probably not. Either way the first step is to replace the antenna. Thanks.

 

You have to go through the cover switches on the overhead front dome light, you pop that out and should see the base and big hex nut.
