Remove subframe mini cooper s

In order to remove the subframe from a 2014 r57 s do i need to do anything with the exhaust?

Front or rear? Regardless, the exhaust goes under both subframes, so to remove either front or rear subframe, you will have to lower the exhaust.

Front, I cant seem to find a good video for removing subframe do you know of any?

I was trying to get to the rear arm bushing, sway bar bushing and remove control arm

Is it possible to remove the front exhaust clamp without a special tool. I saw in a video a pair of pliers that instead of contracting when squeezed expands but i cant find one in any stores in LA wondering how else its done then

Reverse pliers.
also known as bow opening pliers.

Im in bh, i went to Harbor Freight earlier but i didnt know the name of tool so i went to automotive and just looked for something that reminded me of it but didnt see it. Let me try that name.

Yes, the long pliers, that is what I used to open and install the olive connector.

Remove the bolt, and use the reverse pliers to spread the clamp.

That works too, but using screwdrivers to reinstall is kinda awkward.

I successfully removed the clamp with needle nose pliers waiting on lca and sway bushing so i will have tool to reinstall when done. Does anyone know what kind of shop would have a press to remove and install the lca bushing is it easy to do at home?

Ended up cutting out the old bushing and jerry rigging a threaded bolt with two washers to press in new bushing used powerflex bushings
