so, i dropped my mini off today because there was a noticeable loss of power and surging going on. turns out all my plugs were fouled and #4 ignition coil was bad. i had them replace all. while they were poking around they notice that the in the area where the oil filter meets the motor is leaking. what exactly is that called and is that a pain to repair?

ooops, sorry... i have a 2010 R57 ... its not that O ring. they said the gasket between the motor and the oil filter housing was leaking. i should have mentioned that they did do an oil change as well. so, the oil filter gasket was replaced as well.
