battery removal and replacement

does anyone know the procedure to replace the battery on a 2nd generation R57? It appears that some cowling and possibly the passenger side wiper has to be removed to get to the battery.

It's an R56 thread but be careful. These "BMW" batteries are supposed to get programmed at install any more. Paid $400 on my Z4 earlier this year.

Getting under the cowl is removal of the wiper blade arm then the two nuts on the side and it pop out. Thats with going with the hood up through the engine bay. .

Then exposes the battery.
