Cabrio Top Rain "Gutters"

I had my top replaced this summer because of wear spots above the door jambs. Luckily, I found a great dealer (MINI of Marin) who stepped up and replaced the top under warranty.

As has been widely disseminated, Northern California has been experiencing a drought, so the top hasn't been in a really heavy rain since I got it. Until today. Four to six inches are expected this weekend.
Here's the issue- the top keeps the inside snug and dry, except when I open the drivers door. Then a stream of water cascades directly onto the driver's seat from the front corner where the top meets the an
windshield header. It doesn't seem to do it from the passenger's side and I don't remember it happening with the old top. It seems as if the seam on the edge of the top that is supposed to be turned up is flat.

1. Do others have the same issue or does the rain gutter work better?
2. Could someone shoot me a picture if that area? I'll look for another cab to take a picture, but I'd appreciate a picture.
3. Is there anything I can adjust? Unlikely I know, but I though I'd ask.

I'll bring it in to the dealer, but I thought I'd start by asking questions.

Happens to me on both sides of the car. Since it's been doing it from day one, figured it was normal.

Does it from the design. The little pockets rain gutters near the top front connection seal flat when the window is closed and then don't open that much when the door is opened. Use a top protectant and it will bead off the water so you don't have a slow drip from a soaked top.

Thanks. I waterproofed it this weekend and we'll see how it works.
