End-of-Warranty checklist?

I have a 2009 Cooper Cabrio that isn't driven often, and my warranty is expiring. It's a "summer toy" with 14K miles on it. I've scheduled one last round of maintenance under warranty and I plan to drive it around a bit in the next week and look for issues. Have you noticed any common concerns I should be watching for?

Are you referring to the parts inside the car just above the windows when the roof is up?

I've also heard a bit about rubbing and discoloration of the top itself, and I definitely have some squeaks in the top that need lubricating if nothing else.

Door handles got stiff or tough to open on mine.
SatNac Dvd was hard to eject, unit was replaced.
Water pump and fuel pump were warranty issues also, have those checked.
If you have rub dents or wear in the top, they could replace the top.
Recommend oil change, filter change, AC carbon filter change.
Check intake air filter also, good to keep that clean.

No, there are some plastic parts where (what would be the C pillar on a hardtop) that will break. They changed them to metal for 2010.

Post 15 and 16 have pics of the issue. From what I've read (and seen as the clips, on two 2009's that I test drove, broke) it's not a matter of if they will break, but when.

I just had a water pump replaced under warranty. It was leaking at 42k miles on a 2010 cabrio S.

Just letting you know
Here are other things that have had to be replaced on this car

Windscreen fluid jets were clogged, those are an issue.
Top was squeaky, get that motor replaced.
Intake ports do get dirty, tell them that your tach is jumpy and they'll clean it.

That's it so far. get this stuff done in warranty. It's very expensive otherwise.

7,700 miles on my '09, 4 year anniversary next month . Top discoloration/wear spots but after having the dealer switch out the denim top on my '10 I decided to live with the top on the '09. Other than ignoring the service light and changing the oil frequently, I haven't done anything special. Squeaks are just part of the Cabrio experience.

We've had the speakers on our HK sound system replaced on the front. All were cracked. The rubber gaskets around the top along the back of quarter panels were replaced twice now. The dreaded timing chain....and the main drive belt both went out within 20 days of warranty expiration. So our warranty expires in about 2 weeks now. Picking up the car from the dealer today...but seriously considering jumping over to the Countryman. We've had a loaner Paceman for a week and it's so much easier to get in and out of, not to mention the luxurious amounts of space. They appraised our 2010 Conv S at a whopping $15,000. It has 42k miles.
