Just spoke to the MA who said the vehicle has been released to the trucking company.

That's pretty quick considering the car arrived at the port on Tues morning (0100) and it already released.

He said it could be here as early as Sat but more likely next Tues.

 

thx for the inform sbutler....my girl friend bought her car in east bay mini..was on carman also....but the dealership need to put on the JCW body kit so might take one extra week after the car arrive....

 

Congrats! I haven't called my MA. The 1-866-ASK-MINI info hasn't been updated for my car, so I don't know where it is in the process. Your news is making me feel more optimistic I might be able to take delivery in less than two weeks. You never know, though.

 

I now have a delivery date! The MINIUSA site is telling me my car will be delivered on June 2. I looked over a couple of other threads to see if that's the expected date of delivery to the dealership or the expected date I can get the car. From what I've read, it seems that's the date the car is delivered to the dealership.

I will await a call from my MA Jarid to find when I can pick up my MINI. I'm trying to be patient and not pester him until he's likely to have substantive information.

It looks like I'll have my car in less than two weeks!

 

I just found out that 1-866-ASK-MINI only tracks cars until they reach the port of exit. After that, they no longer track deliveries. That's why I was finding that the MINIUSA website was, for the first time, more current than the phone number.

 

I just rechecked the Owners site and the estimated delivery date has been moved up from yesterday....5/29 to 5/27. When I spoke with Ask-Mini they said it usually about 2 days behind....:impatient

It may be there sooner than you think. However even if it does get here this weekend, it's a holiday and the Service Dept is out until Tues.

Just letting you guys know. I was on the CARMEN as well... and I am taking delivery later this afternoon.

I am in the Bay Area.

 

Wow, that gives me hope. My MA emailed me early this morning and said the car was already loaded on a truck. I don't imagine that it was actually loaded this am, but more likely yesterday....It could be tomorrow from the sounds of it.
