Started off with LiB/B but then switched after seeing the LB in the flesh...made the dealer pull the two cars next to each other and paced around them for what must have been like 15 minutes debating. Everyone must have thought I was a complete weirdo

It was a real beaut - CF hood scoop, bonnet stripes, and R105 JCW 18’s! I’m gonna have a bunch of free time after tomorrow, so maybe I can go back to the dealer and snap some photos. Maybe even finagle another test-drive out of them

Titus made the Miraflores locks today... I watched her go through!

 

The "Franconia" has just docked at the Port of Charleston. We lucky few should be at the VDC in Spartansburg sometime tomorrow!

I ordered LiB, but now am thinking I like Laser better...hehe. But it's too late baby (as I humm the Carol King tune) and i'm sure it will all be good in the end.

 

I'm really worried I've never seen a 2007 MINI (in person) and I'm hoping against hope that I like my choice... If I don't, I guess it's not only too late but too bad.

I can't pick up my car until the 19th of June so waiting is not so hard... even if the car gets to the dealer on June 7th, I have to wait.

Minibike and I saw Titus pop up on AISLive San Diego Overview- She's about 100 miles from Port Hueneme, just south of Catalina Island.

She will dock on time 5/28/07, sometime in the Afternoon. Look for your Owner's Lounge to change to "At Distribution Center" sometime later in the week. (I find OL about 2-4 days behind)

Now, how long is the line at the VDC? 1 week? Hmmm.... I better clean out that Garage now!

 

Mine was in and out of the SC VDC in just a few days.

 

The home stretch has arrived... OL now shows my mini as "at the VDC"... Now we all watched Titus dock on 5/28.... So the week 18 mini's have been at the VDC since about 5/30... Anyways, I'll be expecting a call from my MA sometime next week....

Congrats Mo! Sweet! I like the black bonnet stripes.... Had considered the same thing. Congrats!

 

Mo, nice combo. I noticed the strips are under the wing, did you do apply the stripes. I have noticed that the strips are sometimes under the wings or an inch away. My MCSa is without stripes.

Of course, I imagine it will be a couple of days before it is released from the dealer unless they really get it off the truck today (Sunday). Dealers are closed on Sunday in Colorado (ancient blue law on the books).
