Rudie is finally here! Well, he was dropped off at East Bay on Friday but I was in Vegas so I could only pick him up this evening. So without further ado, here is Rudie's pictorial narrative, the abridged version:
I might not look excited in the photos (three sleepless Vegas nights will do that to you) but I assure you, I was ecstatic on the inside. Just to give you an idea, I was offered and happily accepted $500 in trade for my previous ride, so this is a big change to say the least. The first freeway onramp was a revelatory experience and it only got better from there.
The vitals: LaB/B, LSD, Xenons, MFSW, white turn signals, arm-rest. And soon, I can fit him with some new shoes:
Congratulations--looks great! Funny that you have the same "deer in the headlights" look I had--must be the surprise of FINALLY getting your baby. I know I was happy that the wait was finally over!
How was Vegas? Did you make enough to pay for the car?
Congrat's bro!!! Looks great! Will have mine tomorrow. Let me know when everything is done.
Thanks! Can't wait to see your ride tomorrow, take lots of pics! Oh, vodkarocket and I went on some nice twisties today, part-throttle 3-4k rpm and the car was a real champ. Can't wait for the coils to eliminate that body roll (it took more time because JIC had to source a different rear spring for me since I got custom rates).

Heh, let's just say I didn't lose enough to not be able to get it
