Ok, now I have a serious decision to make... I have a Pure Silver/Black Mini on order but after seeing the pics of the Laser Blue, I'm considering changing. My daughter tells me Silver is boring and I need a fun color...like blue. It seems all the Minis I see are blue and I want to be different...however,... most other cars I see are Silver... I'm SO confused!!!! Somebody HELP ME!!!!

 

lol... well there are quite a few blue MINI's but IMO, it's mostly the darker blues. If you want something bright and different, the Laser blue is definitely something. Always make sure you see it in person though, the Laser blue changes quite a bit depending on light.

 

Silver/Black is an awesome combination Lil A. Then again so is Laser Blue. You really can't go wrong with either. How modest do you want to be? If you can, do a side by side comparison in person and see which one seduces you the right way.

 

LaB/B in the middle of it's build right now. I'm havin the dealer in KC put on black bonnet & boot stripes with silver lining. I can't wait. It's an excellent color! Should be delivered the 2nd week of august.

I've had my LaB/W MCS since May and still giggle when I get out of it. I love it! My husband surprised me with the car. Well kind of. He called me at work and asked if I would like Laser Blue with White or Silver with Black. At that point I didn't care. I like both equally. And I didn't believe he was buying one. But I am very happy with his decision. I drove a silver loaner while mine was getting some rattles fixed. The silver loaner was cute, but the Laser Blue is awesome. And it looks better in my garage.

 

The laser blue with white top & racing stripes makes a great contrast.

wow, polished crown spokes... they look pretty nice! laser blue is an awesome color!

 

Yeah, my polished crown spokes are a bit of a mystery. I have never seen others like them. They are actually chrome plated and I have no idea where the dealer got the "M" emblem for the middle. I will have to ask them. One thing I hate about these wheels is the caps. The plastic tabs that hold to the wheels break easily.. 4 per cap and I have already lost some. I may have to buy new ones someday and since chrome may be hard to comeby, I might get standard or even white. Not sure how that would look.

 

did you get it used? ive never heard of chrome crown spokes... and that center M cap is also quite a mystery. looks good though!

 

Any Laser Blue owner have the JCW carbon fiber hood scoop, if so please post up pics, I'm trying to decide if I want to get it.

Did any of you LB guys consider Mellow Yellow? If so, why did you pick laser blue in the end?

 

Just got mine! Love the color!! Looks awsome with the chrome exterior too!Considered the Lightning blue, but too many of those out there. Also really liked the cool blue that the convertible came in until the third quarter of 2007. Of course, I'm a bit of a blue freak - all of my cars have been blue!
