Loving Lazer Blue
I just traded in my indi blue and white 03 Cooper for a new Lazer blue and black Cooper S and i love the way it looks .On the MINI website i thought it looked to light but seeing it in person i knew it was the right choice

Gotta love Laser Blue
When I went to build my mini online, I decided to "go for it" and picked Laser Blue...without actually seeing it in person. But I fell in love with Holly when I first laid eyes on her...she's unique....the color is rather distinctive. I still think I'm going to add stripes...just haven't decided on exactly what style yet.

Here it is! After months and weeks of whining to my wife ( praise God for her patience to me) and to this board; posting numerous topics plus biting almost all my fingers 
I got her last June 13 at Bill Jacobs MINI (Illinois). So far it's the most smoothest transaction I ever had. Kudos also to my MA; Christina Annes for her patience for I keep bothering her during the waiting period.

I'm looking to order a Laser Blue/Black in the next week, but i'm still undecided on whether or not I want the black bonnet stripes. Anybody have more pictures of a LB/B combo w/ or w/o the bonnets?
Ahhh, dont get stock bonnet stripes. Wait till you get your car then go custom. www.mightystripes.com www.cooperflags.com just to name a few.
OR...you can get the bonnet stripes and take em off quite easily (let him sit in the sun and pick back the corner when they warm up and zip, they pull off)

hm... do you mean the stock ones are easy to peel off? I like the stock ones best, I checked out the sites, but I still like the stock ones.
On second thought, I really want to minimize the cost of the car and bonnet stripes are something I can always add later on, so I guess I will just forgoe it for now. Now I still have to decide if I want to fork the money for comfort acess and LSD.

Picked up my LB R56 on 13 May. Been enjoying driving the curves of the Black Forest and Alps. FYI.. my white bonnet stripes came without additional cost in the Sports pkg. I like them and have ordered boot stripes to match.

Ordered my LB today. Regarding the trim, I was going to do the English oak, but the dealer didn't have any for me to see and my MA recommended the piano instead stating that it would clash with the exterior. Anyone with LB have the english oak? Pictures? Thoughts?

oak seems "very nice" but don't combined it with piano black; do combined it with fluid silver.
did you order yours at knauz?

unfortunately, you dont get a choice. Oak comes with the paino black door rings. I think i'm sticking with the oak, scratches will drive me crazy. I ended up ordering at Patrick, but kind of regret it now as the sales was dishonest with me and the communication is pretty poor. I decided to get it there anyways because of the highly rated service there. Hopefully i'm not disappointed with that.
