I always wondered what the Subaru WRX style blue with bronze wheels would look like on a LB mini

Ok so I called someone I know well at the BMW dealership who runs the internet sales group. I have known her for years on a personal basis.
I asked here to do some digging and she went in the system and could clearly see that there was NO damage listed. Apparently there are degrees that it shows.. She told me it was released from VDC yesterday even though my MA said it was released last week. Well guess what.. I just got the call and "Comet" has arrived.. I pick him up either late tomorrow or early Friday.

I am so excited for you . I have had mine for three weeks now and am still diggin' it. Can't wait to see a JCW version. Does yours have an aero kit?

No aero kit here at all.. Honestly and no offese to those that have it but the JCW kit is still not catching my eye.. I think I may just go with the sleeper look.. Below is a picture of my 04 and then my 09.. I have the side stripes <JCW LOGO BUT SAME STRIPE> in the box right next to me and they will be going on in the next few weeks. I am also having my JCW wheels powder coated white. They will end up being very similar cars. Will post a couple of better shots once the car is in my hands and detailed.

 

I know what you mean--I prefered the factory aero to the JCW. Very nice--I am sure you are happy it is finally here . Your wheels will look great white--I had thought about ordering white, but was afraid of the brake dust issues. I am planning on changing out the front brakes ASAP.

I have the NM engineering springs... I love em. Softer ride then stock for 90% of the bumps on the road. The other 10%, I just try and avoid, lol. It is low, but not too low. I did scrape my oil pan last night, but that was a very isolated incident. I was driving on a portion of road that was under construction and wasn't paying enough attention. got cut off, couldn't see the road directly in front of me, and bang... :(

Just picked up my 2009 Laser Blue, with white top and mirrors about 2 weeks ago. I seem to always find blue cars as my last 3 have been some shade of blue? Love the MCS!!

i had my 07 laser blue MCS since nov 2007 xD best car iv had.

 

I had not even seen this color until I went to the dealership to order my RED mini--when I saw the Laser Blue, I knew I had to change my mind on the color and I am so glad that I did. They did not have any that had quite the options I wanted, so went the order route and picked mine up on June 4. I am so glad I changed colors and so glad that I ordered what I wanted vs. settling for what the dealership had. I am with you--the most fun I have had owing a car and that is saying a lot, considering I have owned:
MG Midget
'78 Corvette
Datsun 260z
BWM Z4 and the latest
BMW 330CI Convertible.
The Mini is by far the best
