I posted when I first took possession of mine. I agree for some reason the Laser Blue owners have not taken to this forum. I am willing to try again if others are.

Laser Blue is most definitely an incredible color and I still get a big smile on my face every time I walk up to it!

Where in PA are you and which dealership are you ordering from??
I've been leaning towards Otto's in West Chester, since I've been hearing some questionable things about the dealership in Towson, MD.

I can't wait for my little laser blue! I'm completely surprised this isn't a more active group!

^ottos is great. I used to live in WC, and went there for my test drive.

others on here who have gotten cars from them have been somewhat happy.

You are right in the middle of the state with a few options but have a bit of drive no matter which way you go. I'm in Pittsburgh and ordered mine from Mini of Pittsburgh. They were incredible to work with and I have no complaints! It is probably a little bit closer for you to go with Otto's in Phili and have seen many positive comments about them on NAM. Shop around because with the drive you have regardless you might as well make sure you get the best deal. Find out what they include or will throw in with sale on delivery.

Good luck with your process. Have you decided the details of your build with your laser blue beauty?

The only complaint I have about mine is the headrest on the '09. It juts so far forward that you can't lean your head back. There is a few threads on this minor issue with an otherwise great car.

Good luck!

Thanks!!

I'm still trying to create my perfect Mini! I'm getting an S version, manual, Laser Blue (of course!), perhaps white or checkered roof and mirrors, and either sport stripes or no stripes, with LSD (perhaps sport suspension, as well?) and checkered cloth interior. I don't want any of the packages...I'm going to have a "skinny Mini" without all of the extras (well, except for the LSD and suspension...LOL)!

Arrghh! I can't decide!! I think there are only three things I know for sure right now:

1. It's a Mini S!
2. LASER BLUE!
3. Manual transmission

I'm poring over different mini configurations on miniusa.com and the UK version of the official Mini site, but I need a configurator that will allow a 360 degree rotation. I might hold off getting the strips because I can always add those later. The checkered roof, though....oooh, I just don't know!! *pulls hair*

It's too exciting!

Here are a few pics of my car taken just after I washed it. Some of these are also in a thead in the 2009 Factory JCW forum thread located here.

Very nice additions to the thread OneFish2 and AZDavis!! I love the carbon fiber additions to the JCW and the graphics are very unique!

Snapple- you sound like you are well on your way to a great build with your 3 definites! A "skinny mini" is fine. I added lots of bells and whistles and went with all the packages but the one option I absolutely love and couldn't live without up north is the heated seats... just my 2 cents for whatever that is worth!

I waited to add my sport stripes until after delivery because I had the invisashield installed and wanted the stripes to go over it. It's so easy to add the stripes after and aesthetic creations and cooper flags both have so many options with striping. You'll have some time to decide while you wait for your mini to be born!

Have fun with the configurator!

Love my laser blue and don't regret the color (though there are many really cool colors) but I have been thinking of painting my roof black and removing any white.

i love my laser blue/black.

it's weird though, the laser blue with a white roof looks lighter... I know it's just an illusion, but still...

I don't regret it for one second... it's a bit more rare then some of the other colors.

Now you guys are making me even more excited to get my new MINI Onefish, I love the Laser Blue/Black with the JCW scoop and can't wait to see mine in person...I'm just hoping that the black bridge spokes look as good as they did in the configurator - I haven't seen any good pictures of them yet.

Orangecrush, don't paint the top black it looks great as is. The only regret that I had purchasing my JCW off the lot was that it had the black roof and mirror caps (also no NAV). I prefer the Laser Blue with white over black. I saw a solid Laser Blue one time and it looked awesome.

Thanks OF, I'll probably leave it alone as I have too many projects going on now. I own two bodyshops and was just going to start one day, I thought black roof, black mirrors, grille and even paint those wheels black.

I did toy with the idea of going solid blue but I'm really trying to stay stock....(easier said than done, it's in my blood )

Yep, I've finally decided that I will get my Mini with no stripes or checkered mirror caps (I can put these on afterwards, if I want). I'm going with Laser Blue, white roof, white mirrors, no stripes. I can't wait to order!!!

*counts down payment pennies...*

I am absolutely loving my LaB/B MCSa. I've made sure to color coordinate (Interior blue LEDs, Escort 9500ix w/ blue LEDs, etc ), and there's even more I want to do...

I've been thinking about these wheels:

I'm curious as to how well they would match with the LaB paint though. Anyone have any ideas? Otherwise I may go with black OZs and paint the calipers as close to LaB as possible.

^laser blue is definitely very unique. If you want something to match, I recommend getting them powder coated somewhere to exactly match. Otherwise, i don't think it'd work well.

I finally got around to taking some pics of my new 2009 MCS.

The only thing I've done is given it some Hawk Ceramic brake pads from Outmotoring.com so my rims stay white, otherwise as stock as stock gets. I hope to change that soon and black out the chrome, joey mod my lights and get a nice offset stripe. See the last pic for the hopeful future. I'm SOOO happy to finally have it and a big THANK YOU to this forum for all the fun browsing while I waited. Hopefully I can add to the pot as I get more familiar with my cooper.

That looks really sharp! I almost went with the white wheels but didn't because of the brake dust. I didn't think about going with ceramic pads. I love the look of the custom stripes I think that will be really nice when done. My pictures are in the gallery

Here's mine. I've only had it for a week. I walked in the dealer to look at the blues and found this gem.
