Tacking the ship TRISTAN?

Anyone able to track this ship? It left Southampton on the 17th. There are several Minis on it headed to the California port.
Have tried the http://www.sailwx.info/ site and can not find this ship. Seen others with the Tristan name, but not this ship.

Here is the info from WW.
Booking Number : GBSOU515401
Bill Number : GB593799
Vessel : TRISTAN
Voyage : ED715-TST
Port of origin : SOUTHAMPTON
Port of Destination : PORT HUENEME, CA

Hello Tristan-heads! I'm currently tracking a ship of my own (Maersk Wave) but stumbled on some info you might be curious about. Port Hueneme (for those on the dark side of the states) is listing Tristan's arrival on May the 7th in the PM and has 2 shifts on call for its arrival. Haven't a clue what that means and you probably already knew this, but its on paper somewhere besides hanging next to your computer screens! : )

Tacking the ship TRISTAN?

Well, trim yer spanker in hard as ye put yer helm up, then soon as she's past head to wind, back yer for's'ls, then when she starts to fall off, loose yer spanker, trim yer fors'ls, 'n away y' go.

The sailing term my Dad handed down to me (we used to have a 19 ft. keel sloop at Marina Del Rey, Los Angeles) was, "Lift the topsheet and spanker."

For those who are thinking of other things, the topsheet and spanker are sails that were used on clipper ships.

Your lucky, the ISOLDE never showed up on sailwx.

Looks like TRISTAN is approaching the Panama Canal. When it is there, you can watch it on:
http://aisfree.aislive.com/Influx.as...tic%20Approach
and if someone happens to catch it just as it goes through the locks you can watch it here:
http://www.pancanal.com/eng/photo/camera-java.html
Be aware that the aisfree.aislive.com site can be an hour or more behind real-time. So, watch the web cams when Tristan seems to be approaching the locks.

ISOLDE stayed anchored outside the port of entrance for a couple days as she waited to go through. I guess that depends on how much a backlog there is at the locks.

I caught the Tristan...it is currently showing on the Panama canal site...Miraflores lock
http://www.pancanal.com/eng/photo/camera-java.html

It is the larger white ship on the far side...or if you look at the last 20 pictures you can see it approaching the lock.

I have been watching Tristan today too. I can see it is leaving the Miraflores lock right now. Finally I can go do something else and stop wasting my time ;-).

In case you missed the Web cam and would like to see 20 frames:

2.3m

800k

Nope, and it's taking away the fun of tracking my car Hey, as long as it isn't on the bottom of the Pacific Ocean with my beloved car in tow, I can deal with it.

Hello, my fellow shipmates! Aren't you guys excited that our babies are reaching US soil tomorrow after their oh-so-long voyage?!?

After six long months of waiting for this car, I still can't believe I will be driving it in about a week and a half I can't even begin to imagine what that's going to feel like

I bought my airline ticket last weekend, so I will be picking up my car on May 24. My MA didn't want me to try for the 17th since he said it might get delayed. The timing works well enough since Memorial Day is the following Monday.

Does anyone have any updates on the Tristan or our Minis, for that matter???
Now that I know that my car is on US soil, I am going absolutely bonkers :impatient

Little does everyone know, I am a closeted Scuzz Jr. I have been whining for the last six months, but have been kind enough to only do it to my friends and family But, I'm thinking of bringing my whining to the masses

To fill you all in, this is what I have been saying REPEATEDLY for the last six months, "I want my fricken car!!!" My family and friends say, "We know, Lauren!!!" You can also catch me making sad faces and whimpering noises every time I see a Mini drive by. I kind of look like this or like this .

Live long and motor!!
