Let's hope it's right there, but I honestly haven't a clue.

I am going absolutely out my mind with anticipation. I mean 100%, clinically insane.

The VDC is located in Port Hueneme and I believe it is very close to the doc. It's just a waiting game now. Tick...tock...as they said in a different thread.

Instead of starting a new thread, I guess I would just add to here for tracking Tristan's July crossing. Tristan left Southampton on 7/9 and is scheduled to arrive at Port Hueneme on 8/1!

The Tristan is scheduled to reach Manzanillo in about 5 hours and 15 minutes. It'll probably show up on the Aisfree maps in about 3 hours or so. It isn't on the AISLive maps yet.

Here is the last reported info from the Tristan before it went out of AIS coverage by Florida headed towards Panama on the 20th.

Awesome blossom! Is Manzanillo before or after the canal?

Manzanillo is before the Canal. She'll dock and unload/load up then go back out and anchor near the entrance to the Canal to wait its turn through the Canal.

Tracking the Tristan

I am also waiting for a Mini on the Tristan. Tracked it all across the Atlantic and then I lost contact when the site I was using stopped being updated for the Tristan. I have separation anxiety now. Why can't Mini install a live cam on the ship so that we can look at the 200+ Mini's making their way to a better life in America? Oh well, only a week till my Mini makes it to California. Anyone know how long they usually stay at the distribution center?

Anywhere from 3-10 days at the VDC, or so I've heard, depending on any backlog and any options that get installed there. The Tristan is still not on the AIS system as of yet.

Here is the latest info on the Tristan for you all. She's almost at Manzanillo. She is on the AISfree maps for the Altantic side of the Canal.

The Tristan is in the port at Manzanillo. It looks like she is moored. But AISLive isn't reporting her as moored, but she isn't moving.

Dude, thanks for the updates Simpson! I can't figure out AISlive to save my life! I signed up for the 2 week trial membership and everything, and just can't figure it out. Oh well.

It's gonna suck when you get your MINI and are too busy motoring to keep us updated on our cars! LOL!
