Agent, I am bummed to hear you and Basil are still having issues. I hope the dealer is being good with/to you. I know from reading on here, some seem to have great support from their dealers and others do not. Multiple problems AND poor dealer support would sour me pretty quickly, no matter how much I love the car. Best of luck to you!

Well, I've had a "kink" put into my Mod Plans, I'm still debating the JCW Grill and ChromeLine Exterior Lower Grill, but the New Wheels will most likely have to be put off 'til I get Molly paid off and Hubby has his New Ride.

Here's the scoop...
In a Month and a Half's Time, I've had Tests or Dr. Appts. at least once a Week, the findings...
I have a Coarctation of the Aorta Artery, a Sacular Aneurysm, and a Narrowing Aorta Artery...the Solution...Surgery, which is scheduled for Wednesday, March 24th...YEAH for ME!! NOT!!

I was putting $$ away to Pay-Off a hefty protion of Molly ($5,000) when all this happened and I only got ($2500) Saved!! So guess where my Savings is going??

Keep the Faith and I'll let you know how I fare once I'm home and able to communicate on the World Wide Web!!

 

Oh man, sorry to hear it, RJ! Hope surgery clears it all up!

RJ--wow, that's more modding than one person needs in a lifetime! I'm really sorry to hear of the multiple health issues, but hope that the surgery is effective, on the first time around. Please keep us posted!

MLP--Congratulations on the new Oxy Blue! That is so awesome! Love the pics, especially the 'feel' of the MINI in the first one! Have a blast in it--I'm sure the Oxy Blue will Motor better than your previous models !

I've also got some photos of my own to share this time... went to a reserve/forest today with my best friend just to get away from society (not many photos of Basil though... my best friend teases me for taking too many pictures of my car so I had to refrain)...
Basil sure did love being away from the city!! He seems sooo much happier when he doesn't have to deal with intersections every 500 feet and being stopped at a red light! :P

Ola' O2Blue Peeps!!

I'm 11 Days Post-Op and feeling pretty good, except I'm having a hard time with simple tasks, like moving from the Bedroom to the Living Room (maybe 15ft.) with a Walker without feeling like I've walked a 1,000 miles, I'm just wore out!!

I've had excellent care, my Mom & Dad both came on Monday, the 22nd. My Dad left last Saturday and sadly my Mom will be leaving tomorrow, so I won't be waited on any longer??!!

I've missed a lot it L@@KS like, great pics. and lots of Fun!!

 

Glad to hear you're back in the land of the living and (s-l-o-w-l-y) ambling, RJ! Take your time with it and heal properly 'cuz I'm sure you don't want to repeat this procedure (or miss fantastic MINI Motoring miles later this spring and summer)!

 

Thanks Tedswoods!! 14 Days Post-Op and yeah, I sure don't want to re-live the last 2 Weeks that's for sure.

So I talked with Hubby and he is all for me doing the JCW Grill and Lower Grill Chrome Line Exterior, I will have these installed on Friday, April 23rd. Molly's 2nd Delivery Anniversary is on Monday the 19th, but the Dealership did not have any Loaners for that day and due to my Heart Surgery and not being able to drive, I made sure to let them know that I will need a Loaner.

I cashed in some MINI Motoring Rewards Points, so that will help with Install, the parts I've ordered from Outmotoring.com and Aaron said they should have them and ready to ship tomorrow!!

 

Glad to hear that you're doing well! Hope that you continue to have a speedy recovery!

Also, looks like Basil's gonna be making it to MINIs on the Dragon this year! I don't think I'm going to partake in any of the driving events on the dragon itself (I'm a wuss :P), but I'm looking forward to all the other events there! Anyone else in the club going?

 

We're going to be there... along with as many as 5 more friends.

No go to the Dragon, but will be going to MINIs on Top (http://minisontop.com/) to Mt. Washington in NH. Maybe THAT would be a good place for an OxyBlue meeting!
