Like the color more and more. Haven't seen another Mini in the same color yet.

 

Mine is a 2007 and was on the lot, and while sport seats weren't on my original list - i have to tell you I really like them. I am lovin the heated seats here in western PA, and I am looking forward to using the sunroof in warmer weather. I had never seen the actual color on the car until the day I went to sign the papers! Leap of faith.

I wonder how many Oxygen Blue Minis are out there? Anyone tried to get touch up paint yet?

 

I don't think anyone knows how many OBs there are. We used to see numbers from MINI on this (they do exist somewhere) but I haven't seen anything posted in years.

Some folks here were in search of touch-up paint...not sure if they got any.

My Baby is "On Order" (2/19), due to be in Production Week #10.

Luv the pics. makes me really realize why I chose this color. It is absolutely STUNNING and unique at the same time. I describe the color as "Retro" to people who ask what the color looks like.

I have MY Baby set as screen savers on my work comp., home laptop AND I also have a pic. taped to a window next to my desk.

There is a shirt at cafepress.com that has a Mini and says "Not Obsessed. Just call me Devoted." You may want to add tat to your list of necessities.

 

i have never seen another OB around the Pittsburgh area at all - but i live 25 miles from the dealership. How far are all of you?
My car's name is 'MI'...as in Mini Me, but a slight variation.

 

I'm in Huntington, WV...so I'm a few hours away but not all that far.

 

I'm in E. Vancouver, WA and the Dealership is in Downtown Portland, OR.

 

I'm 120 miles from my dealer.

i did finally get touch up paint... by mistake actually... i ordered FOREVER ago and they lost it! when they were doing inventory they found and shipped it to me for free... didn't charge me for the paint either... took me 6 months but i finally got it... i had to call mini usa and order it... they got all pissed at my dealership bc the dealership told me they couldn't get it... mini usa said, well, let's see if we can fix that for ya... then that's when my dealership lost it...

btw, posting new pics up in the pic forum of our run today... we went and saw the clubman then took off to the twisties and up to a really great historic restaurant... ck'em out...

 

i ordered my oxygen blue last saturday, and i've since become obsessed with finding O2B pics! Thanks everybody. Luckily, I'm off to the philippines for the march as its being built.

What kind of stripes are you going to get? Checkered stripes to match your mirrors would look kinda cool I think.

BTW, I really like your signature because you make feel so much better about Blue Belle's mileage. My friends/family think I drive too much. Blue Belle came home on September 5th and I've put almost 11,000 miles on her. Your mileage trumps mine. Thank you!

This is the second time I saw an OB/W in downtown Dallas, this time as I walked to my building in the morning. Not sure what my colleagues thought as I was freakin' out!!!

I agree and have ordered a set of magnetic stripes(for the weekend romps as I like the clean bonnet look also) that are being custom made from Aesthetic Creations.
