Don't know. The first generation Cooper spoilers were add-on bits...the new spoiler is a replacement for the above-glass hatch/roof section. Not sure how that affects cost and I'd bet few dealers have even tried this yet. It's not a very big spoiler...I didn't have one on my '03 and wanted to try something different on my '07, so I got it.

another question for everyone...
Is the cd player in the '07 MINI's also an MP3 player? So if you burn mp3 data files, not the wav files does the CD player play the songs? My friends car has this feature and its so nice because you can fit around 150-200 songs on one cd and its a lot nicer than having to fool with an actual ipod or something similar.

yes it is an mp3 player... it is way awesome bc i have a carp load of cds and i was able to condense down to like 30 or so cds... only problem is now i have so many options i never can decide what i wanna listen to... :-( oh woe is me... just fyi though, there is an aux plug underneath your ac controls so if you have a reg mp3 player, you can use it too...

my visors (both front and the driver side) are full... i was able to find matchin cd holders for each... i didn't think that little side one would hold one but it does beautifully...

thats wonderful news! I thought it was, but I knew I could get a defininte answer here. I was aware of the AUX plug, but I was afraid that what I was reading in the features was referring to that as an MP3 player. I would prefer the cd's simply because its a little more convenient than the reg mp3 player.

Thanks Mommashine!

Hi, everyone:

I LOVE the Oxygen Blue colour, I ordered a OB/OB last week, personally I think OB look much better in person

I agree, I was initially worried that OB was like baby blue, which I did not want. But my 1st trip to the mini dealer there was one on the showroom floor and I loved it. Congrats on your new purchase, now comes the terrible wait period.

DanF,

Your Mini looks great, I am now considering the bonnet strips after seeing it on your car

Actually, MINI did try out another light blue once upon a time...it never made it into production. It was a more baby blue. So glad they didn't give up...they dialed in OB just perfectly!!! Congrats mtg!!!

Yes, it's been quiet in this thread. I've got a project going here at home that has required "some attention!"

Nice tags, MS!!!

Why do you ask that? I just got on the configurator, and it's still there.

I think it is still available...but it is a Cooper-only color. I have not heard that it is going away for '08, especially since it was available so late in the '07 model year. On the other hand, other colors have only lasted for a year, so who knows. Rest assured...we in the OOBOC (Official Oxygen Blue Owner's Club) will be watching the situation with great interest. Some of our members will also continue to watch for fab OB accessories...but that's another story.

Hey OB's (ha! that's my wife's nickname at work...but there it standards for obsequious b!tch)
I was at the dealer today, my MA said touchup for NFR and OB would be in two weeks. I'll believe it when I see it!
